WARRANTY

We pride ourselves on providing quality products that meet our customers' expectations.  Please be aware that our painted products are produced using the same high quality paints found on the exterior of your vehicle when it was made at the factory.  The durable finish on both our painted and hydrodipped products has been designed to stand up to the wear and tear of day to day driving.  However, we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused when the vehicle is used to the extreme (e.g. track use) where temperatures become very high.  We would advise removal of the parts before using your vehicle for this purpose.  Additionally, we also recommend that care is taken when jet washing your vehicle, particularly when the lance is in close proximity to the paintwork.

 

CANCELLATIONS / RETURNS - STANDARD ITEMS

Should you decide to change your mind within 14 days of ordering or recieving a stocked item, (or if you have ordered a product in error), you may return it to us for a refund or exchange (or cancel your order if it hasn't been shipped).  Custom orders and products listed with a 'lead time' mentioned in the product description are not included (see section below). Unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange if more than 14 days have passed since your purchase arrived.  Original shipping cost will not be refunded and a re-stocking fee of 5%-15% may be levied to cover administration, re-packaging and financial transaction costs.

Should you receive an item that is not as it was described, is missing parts or has been damaged prior to receipt, you have 14 days from the date you received it to contact us regarding a refund or exchange.  Unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange if more than 14 days have passed since you received your item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (parts still with plastic film on where applicable).  Once you have fitted or attempted to fit an item it will no longer be eligible for a return (unless the issue is with the fitment itself).  Items must also be in the original packaging and packaged well enough not to incur damage while in the postal system. Should the returned goods arrive damaged we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Should you refuse delivery of a shipment following customs delays/charges we will issue a refund for the parts (not shipping) only once it has been returned to us.  If the courier charges us to return the shipment, this will be deducted from your refund.

To complete your return, we require a proof of purchase.

If you have ordered a customised item(s) to your specific requirements, we are unfortunately unable to offer a return or refund if you change your mind.  Items listed with a 'lead time' in the product description may be returned at our discretion depending on product demand.

REFUNDS (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.  We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 10 working days depending on your bank/provider.
Refund funds leave our account as soon as you receive the notification email.  Any delays to funds reaching your account will need to be taken up with your bank/provider.

 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  Next contact your bank.  There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

If an item is defective or damaged, we may ask for photographic evidence of this.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@paintmodz.co.uk.  We aim to reply within 1 working day.  If the product you are returning is no longer in stock we will issue a refund.
Depending on the product, we may accept exchanges for products that are not damaged or defective.  In such cases, you will be charged to have the replacement item re-shipped.  In cases where we cannot accept an exchange, our returns policies above would apply and the 'new' item could then be purchased again separately.

 

RETURN SHIPPING

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Unit 3 Robinson Court, Catterall, Preston, PR3 0PZ

You will be responsible for paying any shipping costs to return your item(s).

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

When returning an item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.  We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
