General Information

All Orders

Whilst a lot of our products are stocked, some are manufactured to order.  We therefore aim to despatch orders within 5 working days of payment (most orders are despatched much faster than this, however).  Orders place after midday may fall into the next working day).  Please note the above does not include custom orders or products that are listed with a specific 'lead time' - please read individual product descriptions carefully for details.  

Our factory is open Monday-Friday (excluding UK bank holidays and our Christmas closure) and these are only days that orders are despatched.  We do not despatch orders on weekends.

Once a parcel has been despatched, a confirmation email containing relevant tracking information will be sent to the email address used to place the order.  Please ensure you enter your email address carefully correctly at checkout.

Most parcels are despatched using Royal Mail (and subsequent domestic postal services for customers outside the UK).  Parcels containing large or heavy items may be sent by courier.  If you would prefer us to use a specific courier/carrier, please contact us (charges may apply).

Parcels that are returned to us due to incorrect details being entered at checkout (e.g. no house number) or remain unclaimed from local postal/courier office will attract a fee to be re-shipped.  If a refund is requested following such an occurrence the original postage cost will not be refunded.  Any fees charged by the courier to return the package to us will also be deducted from your refund.

Parcels that are delayed or lost in transit may only be refunded or replaced once the relevant courier's "maximum allowed delivery time" and/or "investigation time" have passed.  These vary by courier - please contact us for details.

Parcels that are returned to us because the customer has not made themselves available to receive the parcel (or made arrangements for the parcel to be redirected with the courier) will attract a fee to be re-shipped.  This may include an additional charge if the courier has charged us for returning the parcel.  If a refund is requested following such an occurrence the original postage cost will not be refunded.

Parcels that are returned to us because the customer has not claimed / collected them from their local postal office / their country's customs office will attract a fee to be re-shipped.  If a refund is requested following such an occurrence the original postage cost will not be refunded.

International Orders Only

We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by local customs / postal services.  Custom clearance times can vary from country to country.  Should you decide to refuse delivery of a parcel following customs delays/charges (see pricing information below) we will issue a refund for the products (not shipping) only once it has been returned to us.  If the courier charges us to return the shipment, this will be deducted from your refund.

Parcels that are returned to us due to a fault by the local courier (postal service in your country) will attract a fee to be re-shipped.  If a refund is requested following such an occurrence the original postage cost will not be refunded.

Postage prices are calculated on the size/weight of the parcel.  If your order falls into an expensive shipping category, please try removing any large/heavy items to reduce the shipping cost.

If the shipping service is listed as DDP (Deliveries Duties Paid), these fees will be calculated / payable at checkout and no further charges will apply once the parcel has been shipped.

Please note that where delivery services are not listed as DDP (Deliveries Duties Paid) customers may have to pay import duties / taxes which are levied once the shipment reaches your country.  International shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities while customs policies vary widely from country to country and we recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information before purchasing.

Postage prices are calculated on the size/weight of the parcel.  If your order falls into an expensive shipping category, please try removing any large/heavy items to reduce the shipping cost.  Removing a slam panel cover from an order to Australia for example can reduce the shipping from £109.95 to as little as £12.95!

Please note that where delivery services are not listed as DDP (Deliveries Duties Paid) customers may have to pay import duties / taxes which are levied once the shipment reaches your country.  International shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities while customs policies vary widely from country to country and we recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information before purchasing.
